Hiking with your dog in Austria

As a certified Austrian "Hiking Hotel", we are pleased to offer you 4 guided hikes per week on which your dog can accompany you. Right next to our hotel. you have access to the extensive network of hiking paths in Ramsau am Dachstein. Your options range from leisurely flat walks across our sunny plateau, to hikes in a region of high pastures at the foot of the Dachstein, and even full-blown alpine mountaineering expeditions. We are happy to chat with you in person to discuss which hikes are most appropriate for you and your dog.

If you happen to need a dog leash or plan to ride the lifts up the Dachstein but don't have a muzzle, simply let us know at the reception. We will be happy to help you out!

The trails do not lead over salted roads, so your four-legged friend's paws are protected. After a varied walk, you can borrow a dog bathrobe free of charge if you want to give your dog a shower.
