High-altitude cross-country ski trail
At 1,500 m, you can explore the 5.2 km long cross-country ski trail in the Ramsau am Dachstein adventure region. It can be reached with the Rittisberghan in one of the 10-seater gondolas to the mountain station. There are both skating and classic tracks.
Culinary pleasure hiking is also possible on the mountain. Whether in warm boots or snowshoes, you can cross snow-covered forests and enjoy the view over the valley and the wintry mountain peaks.
Full moon cross-country skiing
Would you like to get to know the quiet and romantic side of winter? Then hit the trails in the natural light of the full moon - for connoisseurs, this is one of the most beautiful winter experiences. On selected evenings, the standard east and west trails are open until midnight.
Cross-country skiing on Dachstein glacier
Is cross-country skiing in Ramsau and the high plateau not quite enough for you? No problem – ride the Dachstein gondola all the way up to Dachstein glacier. The Dachstein Panorama Trail - the world's longest glacier trail - is located at 2700 meters above sea level amid the unforgettable high-mountain scenery of Dachstein glacier.
The fact that this IS the longest glacier ski trail in the world tells you a lot about the Dachstein as a cross-country mecca. Top athletes constantly come to Ramsau and the Dachstein to prepare for upcoming competitions.

Dogsitting
For safety reasons, your dog is not allowed on the ski trails. But while you are gone, he is welcome to stay in your room or take advantage of our dogsitting service. While you are gone, our doggie caregivers will look after your puppy, allowing you to glide through our beautiful countryside without a care in the world.

Ramsau is an Austrian cross-country skiing El Dorado. But it's also part of one of the country's biggest areas for alpine skiing - Ski amadé. With a single ski pass, you will be able to slice down the pistes of the most famous ski mountains. For example, the Planai in Schladming is just a few minutes' drive from us.
