Total seclusion in a romantic chalet
Our Romantic Chalet lies barely 20 steps from our main building, featuring 11 romantic rooms designed in keeping with the elements "Fire" or "Water". Upon request, we will be happy to serve you a champagne breakfast in your room or reserve the sauna exclusively for you - with rose petals, prosecco and candles included, naturally (charged extra).

Look forward to extraordinary palate-pleasing treats. Guests of our Romantic Chalet are pampered with an energizing breakfast in the morning and a 5-course dinner in the evening. Eat whatever your heart desires and create a personal menu tailored to your tastes. If you wish, we will be happy to serve you the energy breakfast or evening dinner in your room, guaranteeing hour upon hour of undisturbed romance. The romantic sauna for two and a "spa butler" are further offers certain to make your romantic getaway at the Almfrieden an experience beyond compare.
Sunrise Breakfast on the Dachstein
Side-by-side with your loved one, experience the magical moment of sunrise on top of the highest mountain in Styria. After this magnificent natural spectacle, you will be greeted by a sumptuous breakfast at the Glacier Restaurant. With your batteries fully recharged, you will then be able to enjoy a number of other memorable Dachstein experiences, including a suspension footbridge, the "Stairway to Nothingness", the Ice Palace and the Sky Walk.
The Sunrise Breakfast is bookable from the beginning of July until early September on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.

Romantic Carriage & Horseback Rides
Horse breeding and numerous folk-heritage events involving horses both look back on a long tradition here in Ramsau. Discover our magical countryside during a leisurely carriage ride or, who knows, maybe you will be brave enough to hoist yourself up into a saddle?! We will be happy to make all the arrangements on your behalf.
During the annual Spring Festival of Horses at the beginning of June, you will be able to enjoy a parade of flower-decorated carriages, beautifully decked-out horses and a colorful side program with folk costumes, dance, music and authentic local customs. An extraordinary experience indeed!
